My Life 13

So this week has been extremely busy. It is almost like I have two exam weeks in a row. I have to compile all my organic chemistry labs to turn in, which means going back and writing up all the procedures then copying over all the other notes I have. Along with that I had a big homework for another class due, which took 2 hours. Then had half of a take home exam due that took almost 7 hours of straight working to get done. Had the exam for my tech writing class this week, have to go and get drug testing in Seneca for my co-op, and have to study for my 430 exam that I am taking Friday just so I can focus on my packaging 404 exam and organic chemistry exam that I have next week. Not to mention that one is at 8 AM which means I'll be half asleep and the other is on Friday, that last day for exams, and is at 7 PM. Oh and I had to do a lab report that was due this past Tuesday, all this after Thanksgiving break. Do teacher really expect us to do work over our breaks, cause it sounds like we do more than enough work while we are actually here.

My Life 12

Well guys, my life right now is not going so well. I woke up to a rather surprising email the other morning from one of my instructors. It was claiming that I and another student had been submitting homeworks that looked very similar and that we needed to come in and talk to the instructor about cheating. This was very surprising to me, because for one I have never cheated as my sometimes poor grades reflect haha, and two of course our work will look the same. Everyone in the classes work should have looked the same cause we all used the same data to answer the questions, form graphs, and make charts. I sent an email back explaining to the professor that this other student and I have always taken the same courses together and have always been partners for projects and have always worked together and helped each other out. The instructor has yet to respond, which is confusing to me seeing as how alligations of cheating should be taken very seriously. Lets hope it all works out and as usual, later on.

My LIfe 11

This week was very good for my school. This is because Clemson has won enough games this season to go to the ACC championship in Tampa Bay. However this week was also very long. That is because my fraternity had to send our associate members through pre-initiation week. It makes it a long week because there is a lot of work to do for the brothers to make sure the associates are ready for initiation. There was only one test to be taken this week though so that was not to bad. It is also good that it think I did well on this test because I needed to get some good grades in before this semester was over. This semester's grades are not the best I've had. Actually they might very easily be the worst I have ever had. Thinking I'm on track to get a D a C a B and an A. That means that next semester I'm basically going to have to make straight A's to keep my scholarships. Hopefully we will win againist USC this weekend and cap off what should be a great Thanksgiving break. Thats all for now.

My Life 10

So last week was pretty rough. I woke up Tuesday morning after feeling fine all weekend and my throat hurt. I figured it was just from breathing in the cold air all night cause the heat was turned off, however after a day of it bothering me I went to Redfern. On Wednesday I found out that I had strep throat, and had no idea how I had gotten it. So for the rest of the week I basically had to get as much sleep as I could and put off my work. Now, as this week is starting I am behind the proverbial eight ball. I have two lab reports to get done, a very big homework assignment, and an organic chemistry test tomorrow morning at 8 A.M. Looks like it is oing to be a great week, and to cap it off I had to cancell on my semiformal date, and might miss our mixer on Wednesday night because I have a very important test Tuesday morning that I must do really well on. So I hope everything works out this week and this sickness that I had doesn't ruin another week for me. Thats all for now.

My Life 9

This week and weekend was a very good. The school week was not that hard except for a 430 test I had on Thursday. The weekend though, was when all my fun really took place. On Friday I kind of just took it easy and relaxed. However, on Saturday things got a little out of hand. The game as usual was in horrible rainy weather. The good news, is that Clemson still managed to win the game. That night to celebrate the win and the holiday, Halloween, we had a huge fraternity party at the house I live in. It was a dress up party and everyone wore a costume. I happened to be a smurf and decided to paint my entire body blue and wear white shorts. The best thing about the party though was that we got an actually DJ to play music for this party. The DJ did a great job and everyone was dancing the entire time. Sunday I just relaxed again and went to go talk to the sorority I'm working with for our philanthropy event. On Sunday we managed to collect 300 cans in just one day for the North American Canned Food Drive. Thats all for now.

My LIfe 8

This week is another good week for me so far. Again I had come of my classes canceled. That meant that I now had no classes on Monday and only had one classes on Tuesday. Today is Wednesday of this week and it is still going well. I have a test on Thursday, but that isn't really that bad because I have all day to study today with nothing else due tomorrow. I do need to do well on this test though because my average test grade for this class is kinda low. I think I can do well this time though because it seems like I remember alot more of what was taught this time around because I wasn't so tired during this classes lectures. For some reason at the start of the semester I was always very tired. I think it is because I man the executive decision to no longer attend my 8 A.M. Organic Chemistry class. I feel as though I get the same amount of knowledge and understanding out of the class from reading the very expensive text book they made us purchase as I would from actually going to this class. That is all for now.

My LIfe 7

Last week was a good week for me. Alot of my classes were cancelled due to teachers having to go to conferences. So because the class was canceled the lab was also canceled, which was very nice. Along with that, another one of my teacher's was sick on the day I had one of his classes so that class was canceled too. However, the lab for that calss was not canceled because there was a TA present. On Friday, myself and a few other brothers took our pledges out for a bonding activity. The trip was to the Pisgah National Forest, and we were going to camp up there. The only problem was that when we first got there it was raining so hard we actually had to move camping sites. Once we got to our new camping site, the rain had let up a little bit and we were able to get tents up. Starting the fire was a problem though. Everything was very wet, so it was a good thing we packed in our own wood. Once we had a tarp over the fire it started burning really well and we were all able to dry off and warm up. I didn't have to worry about being wet when I slept though because I had all my gear packed inside waterproof bags. Thats all for now.

My Life 6

So I am finally down with all my midterms, and it feels like a great weight lifted off my shoulders. I think I did very well on all my tests, and hope that that turns out to be the case. The concert my brother and I attended last night in Atlanta, GA was amazing as well. The band was great and the special effects were amazing. At one point in the show the drummer's stage actually started to rise up into the air and spin around during his solo. Apart from that, yesterday Campbell's contacted me about a co-op job, and I know now I will be headed to New Jersey for the months of June to December. I am happy that I got a spring co-op now because those months will be beautiful up north, and not nearly as harsh as if I was to be there in the fall. On another note, tomorrow I leave for my backpacking trip that my friends and I have been planning for the last week. We will be headed to the state of North Carolina and into the Middle Prong Wilderness. The trails are supposed to be very challenging, and very void of human life. Not even Rangers go back there to maintain the trails. I love the outdoors and a great challenge such as this one to really take a break from the hustle of college life here in Clemson, SC.

My LIfe 5

So this week so far has been pretty packed. It is midterm week, and I have done two of my tests so far. I think that I did pretty well on both of the tests, organic chem and PKGSC 430. Still have to take a PKGSC 404 test, which is Mechanical Physics of Transportation. Just as the name sounds, it is a hard class, however I just meet with my professor and was able to talk about the mistakes I made on the first test in hopes that I can do well on the midterm. The only real problem I forsee in studying for this test is that tonight, the night before the exam, I will be headed to Atlanta. While this may look like a mistake it is unavoidable. My older brother and I decided to go to this concert way back in July and it would have worked out, but the concert was moved from last week to this week for some reason. So even though I have a test I am not gonna miss come quality time with my older brother and a great band, Blink 182. I started studying yesterday and have been going over notes during my breaks between classes as well as meeting with my professor, as stated previously. I hope it all works out because the test will probably be pretty hard.

Majka

My Life 4

Hey guys, so I haven't made a post in about two weeks. Sorry for those who follow me ( I'm sure it is still none though haha). Lets see, I've been keeping very busy lately with school work and my social life. Along with all that though, and the main reason I forgot to blog, was because last week my school had Co-op interviews. My major here at Clemson University requires that I complete one six month co-op before I can graduate. Some of the companies that came to the Packaging Science Department were Campbell's, Cadbury, Kraft Foods, Smith & Nephew, P & O, and many more. However, there were only about 16 open spots and 27 students gong out to get a co-op. So far I have not heard back, but I will remain optamitic unitl I have heard that all companies have filled there alotted spots. I thought I did pretty well in all my interviews, so it could still happen. Anyway, this week is midterm week so I have alot of studying to do.

My Life 3

This week was pretty much the same as any other for me during the weekdays. Had classes, a test, labs, and homework that all needed my attention. On Tuesday I did go downtown with my friend to a sorority mixer, but that was pretty basic. Thursday night should have been a good night for me to start the weekend off with, however Clemson decided to give G Tech 24 free points before actually showing up to play football. The weekend was much better though. This weekend was my fraternity's mountain weekend, and I had a blast. We enjoyed things like hiking, zip lines, kayaking, swimming, fishing, tubing, live music, bonfires, and much more. That really was a nice break from the normal grind of school work. The only small problem that happened was that my friend Josh, whom I live with, lost his keys. So, Sunday night after we got back to Clemson I had to drive him back to Camp Wayfarer so that he could bring his car home with his spare. That is how my week has been this time.

My Life 2

Another week has passed, and accordingly a lot more has happened to me in life. The week was my first week were I had all my labs for classes and had to go to every lab. Being sick took a lot out of me and made the week pretty slow by only going to class, doing homework, and then sleeping as much as I could. However by Thursday I was feeling pretty good and went downtown with some friends to have a few beers and watch Doug McCormick play at the bar. Doug was good as usual and the people were friendly as usual. Friday I did some work around the yard at the house I am living at, and just took it easy at night. Saturday I headed into campus early at about noon in order to start tailgating with my fraternity on the quad. Got to watch some of my favorite football team, U of M, beat Western and then headed to the Clemson game. Had a good time there as usual and the weather was really nice for the first half. After the game we had a party out at our house to celebrate the victory. Today, Sunday, I did some more yard work around the house and looked at some homework I have due this week. That's all for now, later.

My LIfe 1

So since Clemson has gotten back underway I have been really busy. Definitely in some really hard classes this semester like PKGSC 404 and 430 along with Organic Chem and the three subsequent labs that go with them. On top of the heavy work load for classes my fraternity has been going though rush week and getting new associate members, along with initiating the last batch of guys. Then just when i thought I was going to get some free time to start getting all my classes in order my computer decided to stop working and I got a pretty bad cold. Well, the computer has been fixed but my body is still running at half speed. As I try to keep up with all my school work and fraternity oblications, football season hits and this weekend is our first game between Mid Tenn. State. I think it will be a pretty east game and look forward to the tailgating and post game celebration. Hopefully I don't get to distracted this weekend though and can buckle down Sunday and Monday to get all my work and studying done.
